To screenshare to Stage TEN with audio you will need to set up a virtual audio device first
Step 1: Go to VB-Cable Virtual Audio Device and download the software
Step 2: Select where to save the VB-CABLE Virtual Audio Device
We recommend saving the virtual cables files in your Program Files on your PC or Mac.
Step 3: Right click on 'VBCABLE_Setup_x64' and click 'Run as administrator'
Step 4: Click 'Install Driver'
Step 5: Click 'Install'
You should see a window pop up that says 'Installation Complete and Successful'
Step 6: Download and install OBS (if you don't already have it)
Go to OBS and click the operating system your using to download. Then open the OBS Installer you downloaded and click through the installation menu
Step 7: Open up the OBS Studios and create a new Scene
a. Under "Scenes" click +
b. Enter a Scene name and click "OK".
Step 8: Create a new Source
a. Under "Sources" click +
b. Click "Display Capture"
Step 10: Under 'Create new' enter a name for your source and click 'OK'
Step 11: Enter properties for the Screenshare and click 'OK'
If you only have 1 monitor you can just click "OK", if you have multiple monitors select which one to capture in "Display" then click "OK". Your screen should now be showing on OBS
Step 12: Under 'Desktop Audio' select the Cogwheel then click 'Advanced Audio Properties'
Step 13: Switch "Audio Monitoring" to "Monitor Only (mute output)"
Switch 'Audio Monitoring' to 'Monitor Only' for all the audio sources you want to hear on stream. 'Desktop Audio' is any sound coming from your computer Ex. a video playing, a notification, music
Step 14: Under 'Controls' click 'Settings' then in 'Settings' click 'Audio'
Step 15: Select CABLE Input as the Monitoring Device
a. Under 'Advanced' select 'CABLE Input (VB-Audio Virtual Cable)' as the 'Monitoring Device'
b. At the bottom of the Settings menu click 'Apply' then 'OK'
Step 16: Under 'Controls' click 'Start Virtual Camera'
Step 17: Open the Stage TEN Studio and click 'ADD OR INVITE FEEDS' then click 'SHARE YOUR SCREEN'
Step 18: Select the Screen, Window or Chrome Tab you want to share and then click "Share"
Step 19: Click the source under 'Audio Sources' and click 'CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual Cable)'
Your now screensharing with audio
You should now see a green bar appear whenever audio is playing in the feed your screensharing
Step 20: Mute the Stage TEN Pro Studio by right clicking the chrome tab and clicking 'Mute site'
Since your sharing all audio coming from your computer you need to mute the Stage TEN Studio to avoid an audio loop on stream
You will now be able to hear the sound of the screenshare and your microphone on the stream and are ready to Go Live
