Further Details

Stage TEN recommends feeding video at a resolution of 1280x720. Although higher resolutions will be accepted.

A bitrate of 2000 Kbps is recommended, as it offers a balance of low-latency and video quality. In the case of a weak internet connection, 600 Kbps to 1200 Kbps is recommended. There is no enforced upper limit, but higher than 3500 Kbps is not recommended.

Users with very fast computers and slow internet connections may wish to choose an alternative CPU Usage Preset to increase video quality. Medium or Fast are recommended options in such cases.

It is strongly recommended that all performers and switchers use a wired Internet connection and not a wireless connection. Further, for greatest reliability and stability, we recommend using a fibre optic-based Internet connection, compared to DSL or cable-based.
