Connecting to Twitch via RTMP

How to connect Stage TEN to any Twitch channel using an RTMP address

To connect to any Twitch account with an RTMP key, do the following:

1. In your Stage TEN Studio go to Settings (gear icon, top right) > MANAGE DESTINATIONS and select the "RTMP" icon.

2. Once the pop-up window is available, we suggest naming the Twitch account you want to stream to. 3. Next, enter rtmp://live.twitch.tv/app/ in the RTMP URL. For Twitch, the RTMP URL will always be this address.

4. Now you will need to enter the Stream Key information, which you will get from the Twitch account you want to send your stream to. Login to the Twitch account and access the Creator Dashboard from the profile menu. 5. Once in the Dashboard, click on the Gear icon and select "Stream".

6. Click the "copy" button next to the Stream Key bar

7. Paste that stream key into your Stage TEN RTMP Stream Key bar and click "save"

8. Your connection will have then been established and you will see the Twitch channel under your "live destinations"

Disconnecting your Twitch channel from your Stage TEN account

1. Go to Settings (gear icon, top right) > MANAGE DESTINATIONS.

2. Click on the RTMP logo.

3. Click on the Trash icon next to the connection you want to remove.
4. If the connection is not removed, please get in touch with support at [e-mail]

   Updating Channel connections

   What if the wrong channel is connected, or you want to change it? If the wrong Twitch channel is connected, try these options:

   1. Disconnect the current Twitch channel and then connect the right channel.
